The West Torrens Concert Band is a community band based in the Western suburbs of Adelaide and has been playing since 1978 (48 years!). We are involved in many community events across Adelaide including ANZAC day and Remembrance day services, community fair’s and Christmas Carols.

We offer wind, brass and percussion musicians a place to rehearse, play and socialise. The band plays a wide variety of music, including classical, pop/rock, movie medleys, and Australian classics. It is a mix of old and new, so there is bound to be something you like!

For a challenge, we compete in the SABA State Band Championships at the B-grade level and join other bands for competitions and festivals across the state, including the Strathalbyn Bands Festival.

The band regularly rehearses at the Findon Community Centre on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm and we welcome all musicians of all ages from AMEB grade 3 or equivalent.

Additionally the band can be hired to play at private and community events, including spring fairs and provide entertainment at retirement homes. Please enquire using the form found on the home and contact page.
